I'm going to service my car myself to save some money and was wondering what steps I should take. I know how to do an oil change and stuff but would I need to change spark plugs and leads as well as anything thing else?

AND YES i SPELLED BERLINA WRONG, I blame night shift

Every has their own opinion on servicing....
My general rule is..
Oil - 5000 K's
Oil filter - 10,000 k's
Fuel/Air Filter - 20,000 k's
Spark plugs, trans, diff - 40,000/50,000 K's depending on how you feel.

its always good to change the oil filter teh same time you change the oil....oil filters are about 5 bucks..depending on what you get

I'll add to what the other guys said, check your vehicles hand book for the service checklist. Follow that and tick the box and sign the top. Full service history
