get some throttle body cleaner and clean out the T/B and clean out the IAC while your there chances are its clogged, is the engine light coming on at all, before you stall dont reset the computer untill you get a code, wait for it to give you a code the see what it is if the engine light is coming on, but i would start with cleaning the T/B out

IAC (Idle Air Control), located in the throttle body, at the back of it,

Get a mates ecu and put it in the car see how it goes, you cant reset the IAC unless u take the battery terminals off, and reset the computer.

get some T/B cleaner and spray it into the holes in the T/B it will get into the IAC and clean it, or take the T/B off and unscrew the IAC and see if there is any problems with it, and clean it properly out of the car.
