120-130 rwkw with all the above

140-150 if you also port the heads and it will run a high 14 1/4 mile with that kind of power in a V6 auto

Well, you have just cancelled out the only ways of getting any decent power out of a V6.....There are no other mods that will add a lot of power to a V6. F/I all the way!

forced induction is the only real way to make any decent figures out of these.

probably shouldve gone a bit more into depth with that. really the roller rockers r just changing the valve lift, similar to a cam. obviously not exactly the same, but the basic gist of what people are buying roller rockers for (not wanting to go thru with a cam).

i doubt he is wanting to put a big pig of a cam in his vp v6, what he wants is probably obtainable by just going a higher ratio RR.

Custom cams are generally targetted at changing durations and overlap (in addition to lift), which roller rockers have no impact on. This is where the big gains are found high up

I'm building a v6 for a mate and i think the most to expect this is 130rwkw this is with a crow cam they say will make 180kw at fly. Heads getting ported would be ideal but its not worth it in the end maybe later he might but being a p plater theres no real chance for him to go s/c and be legal

People keep suggesting i get these things, but never tell me what brands are best, prices and outlets? I have a second hand VN, looking to add some stuff, would rather second hand stuff since i wont have the car for more then 2 years, where would you recommend i look for second hand cams/rockers/70mm TB for a series 2 VN motor and what sort of prices should i look at?

Second hand cams are hard to come by, nigh impossible.

For second hand roller rockers, scour ebay or wait for a set to crop up here... once again, very hard to come by second hand. They're not a thing people frequently uninstall and sell; and on wrecked cars, they're not the sort of thing you can walk past a car and say "hey, look! this one's cammed!"

70mm TB is not worth your money imho. Money better spent elsewhere.

After tune/exhaust/trans shift kit + corvette servo, the best bang for anyone's buck on a V6 is a set of 3.7 or 3.9 diff gears, depending on how hardcore you want to go. See if you can find my blue VP thread in "My Ride". There's a few things to read about in there. It wasn't a spectacular car, but everything I did on the cheap, and it outran stock and tuned V8s consistently. I ran it a few times against a VP V8 with a tune, exhaust, shift kit and 3.9 gears, and it was consistently only a bonnet behind to 100kph.

If anyone has any easy questions, feel free to PM me.

Thats cos not that many on this forum have done that, they just know a general idea. Most people just get the general like exhaust, headers a tune, CAI etc if you really want to know products **** this forum and read some magazines or call some places it really isnt worth it IMO to spend alot on NA mods just look for F/I to get some serious power

you CAN get some good power out of the v6 na, i have... but it requires spending $$$. "cheap power"... there is no such thing!

I got all my na upgrades VERY cheap as i shopped around , and i did all the fitting myself. But i still spent a reasonable amount of cash.

If you dont plan to keep the car for very long then most people will tell you "why bother then??" Especially if you have installed a cam or something that is hard to remove.
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

70mm wouldnt make much difference anyway, because the elbow restricts it back down to 65mm or so anyway. even then, a 65mm throttle body doesnt make any improvement if you read about them a bit.

Exactly. And at the end of the day, even if everything WAS 70mm, a mild V6 just doesn't breathe that heavily.
