    Default Radiator keeps purging coolant???

Hi, Recently did a radiator reverse flush and changed the thermostat and ever since its been running a bit hotter than usual (just shy of half way) and its been purging coolant out of the overflow hose all week in my driveway. Its pushed out enough so that the overflow bottle reads almost empty, Whats going on??? And how do i fix??? And every time i try to bleed it (take the radiator cap off and run the motor it just keeps flooding out the top of the radiator. Cheers

I was losing coolant out my overflow recently and all it was, when i did the flush, one of my clamps was a bit old and crappy and it wasnt sealing properly and it was leaking very slightly and losing pressure when you stop the car and it wasnt drawing the excess back in from the overflow bottle. Thus it just slowly emptied the radiator.
Im not sure if your running a 6or an 8 but i know the earlier models had a bleeder valve/screw somwhere near/or on the thermostat i think on the 6's, but im not sure if that was just the vn's
Im almost certain there is a how-to. Try searching again

If its a 6 the bleed screw should be on the top of thermostat housing on a VP

not sure if that will help your problem tho.

    dodgy radiator cap?
check hoses for leaks, you did put the therostat in the correct way?

i did my thermostat and it runs at 2 bars instead of 1 now.

yeah cap first and tighten hoses.
It's a good idea to use instant gasket on the holes to.

    i meant hoses.
I use a little on the old hoses when i assemble them so they seal well.
check the little hose ontop of the water pump to.
It does not come in the hose kits so may be old.
