get a breaker bar, rest it on the ground & crank the motor ONCE, take the leads off or remove a fuse if you dont want it starting on you, but should be right. if it does start while doing it just switch it off.
and you should be removing the radiator & using an impact air gun for those bolts thats why the normal gun doesnt work.
You MAY need a harmonic puller, but yours may be that flogged out hopefully it will (and can) just slide off with ease.
i did every thing..including the breaker bar and ignition..this bolt is tight...i charged my battery for 4 days so when i did the ignition thing it would hav heaps of grunt but it didnt budge..i turned the compressor up to 120psi and i'm not sure if the rattle gun i got is any good but its only rated for 90..but i got 120 out of it..my only other option is pay my mechenist to come out with his big ass rattle gun and compressor but he wants 150$ per hour..and my rad is out..

lower the stiffener plate between trasmission and engine the wedge a prybar into your ring gear so the engine won't turn.
I got mine of woth a repco 1/2 ratchet and quality socket, with a 1m piece of pipe for leverage.
If you have access to a 3/4 socket set then use it.
alternatly go to a good toll shop and get a slogging spanner in the right size and 4lbs club hammer, well you know where this is going.
ps slogging spanners are made to be hit with a hammer.
im going to tell you how to do it, but i DO NOT condone this in any way and is done at your own risk. it works, but is dangerous. perfect for when your in the bush with no tools.
Ok, get the breaker bar, give it some slack (so the motor can start & slam the breaker into the ground) then crank the motor & let it run for a second. make sure the socket is tight fitting and the breaker bar is sitting firm on the bolt. The bar will smash into the ground once the motor has started and you risk breaking the socket or bar, it could fly off and jam in the motor or hit you.
Good luck, ive done it twice when i was at a mates & on the side of the road & should only be done if you understand what can happen & you are competent enough.
how did it go?
