Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction (or give me a full run down) as far as removing the front right hand quarter panel on a VP commodore goes.
It needs to be replaced and being a student I can't afford to get it done professionally.
I'm not a master but I've got bit of experience and I have a semi decent set of tools to do the job with.
Thanks in advance!
Yogi
Undo the bolts/nuts on the top of the quarter panel, under the bonnet. Remove the inside mud guard, which will be screws and plastic screws. Then there should be a bolt that goes in towards the door and another one at the bottom of the guard.
Thats a rough guide as its been like a year since I took a guard off and I have a few extra screws thanks to the sideskirts, but that should just about be it.
Thats pretty much it, The bolts on the top of the panel under the bonnet can be a bugger to get off aswell.
Thanks guys, replaced it with no major issues, $75 for a panel and a few hours work as opposed to $760 at the panel shop. easy choice
Thanks again
Yogi

If its that easy can i put the front quarter panels, bonnet and bumper from a vr on my vn ?
Olle has been done but its alot more work 1991_Vn2nV (sp?) has done it but required alot of extra work need to fit alot of extra vr stuff. Have a look around his posts. Heres a link to his ride <--- 1991 Holden Vn2nV ---> drool.
Where do you live that managed to make a VN turn to dust! impressive!
You're just jealous because his car is lighter than yours, greenfoam![]()
