wipers not working

Hmmmmmmmmm doin a roadworthy check on my daughters VN and i got everythig sorted except these $%%^^&&%$##@##$% wipers,
the fuse blows soon as i turn them on,ok crook motor,so i put on one from a wreck,no difference ok switch ? tried that as well,still no go.
What i have noticed is that if i turn the switch to high they will work as though the switch is set in the intermittent position but they move slowly between passes ????????,but as soon as i switch it back to low it pops the fuse,there is no short with the motor diconnected.
I tried the wipers on my VP ute which has a stato interior in it and i can hear a relay operate but on the VN i cant hear anything,i'm assuming it is the same,i wondered if the intermittent wiper module is UTS,so the question is does anyone know where i can find it on the VN,i prolly have the one around out of the ute,cant say i really know exactly what i'm lookin for, but looked for it this arvo and give up and took up a position between the fridge and heater.

Ok dont worry bout tryin to find the intermittent wiper module coz its part of the switch,couldnt see the forrest for the trees lol.
And i also worked out the problem,bloody mice been mungin on the cables under the washer bottle and shorted out the works,so hopefully alls gunna be good
