annoying banging problem rear suspion area

car is making bang noise from rear of car when i hit a big enough divit in the road,,, i reckon it may be panhard rod bushes, how do i tell if panhard rod bushes are knackered? any other ideas be greatly appreciated

check for sideways movement, cracking and squeezing out in the panhard bushes, worn panhard bushes will generally make the rear of the car feel sloppy in corners etc,

check exhaust mounts and the rubber bushes in the axle mounts

try the upper control arm bushes to.
They are dheap and easy to replace so i would even if you don't need to.

replaced upper control arm bushes and panhard rod bushes,,
wal aaa.
no more banging and rattling
