    Hia guys,

    I have here a sad story,

    i finaly baught my self my first v8, 1992 5.0L VQII statesman and she looks nice, also has pacemakers and a cam ..... sad part about it is that just after my first drive in her the engine internals decided that life was just to hard and "terminated its own life" :'(;

    in other words i have a nice statesman with a over sized paper weight under the hood.

    what do you guys recommend i do with it? i dont want to fix it, just.... disperce of it? lol

    Sorry to hear about your loss.

    It depends on how much you payed for it. If all you want to do is recover what you payed for it you will have to figure out how much you will get for parts. this won't be easy.

    If I were in your shoes i would not sell it, get a replacement engine put in and keep driving it.

    Put it this way, you may buy another 2nd hand car only to go through all the issues again anyways. As reaper said, give us some more details about how and what went wrong. it may be somethign really simple.

    yea man fix it. Get another car and it might happen again.

    I am in the process of rebuilding my old 308 and man do u learn alot as to how it works and why things are going wrong. Now if i am stuck at the side of the road with a car problem, i can rule things out and find my way around the engine bay due to me putting every single little hose in there.

    just fix it, also its a statesman! A nice car to fix. Not some clapped out ford laser.
