    Default VN foggies size?

Hey all, I wanna get some foglights/driving lights for my VN. I know the original VN SS ones are hard to come by and expensive. Now I just wanna get a set that are pretty much the same size and look. So does anyone know what size the are?

I found some dimesions on the net, but as with most information on the net, it's probably wrong. This site reckons they are: 173mm by 81mm

I had some big bulky ones previously fitted to my car, but they are way, way to big. (so big they don't fit or point at the road) So i know most of the wiring is there.

Also i did a search, and couldn't find anything.

    Cheers mate!!
thanks for that! Also are they the original foggies? or are they aftermarket?
It's just that i thought that the original ones were clear, whereas yours look slightly yellow, and have a blue sticker on the lens.

If they are aftermarket, what brand are they? any ideas? As they look the closest to the originals out of every other set i've seen.

    Also positive rep for you

I had a pair of foggies on my VN that were off a forklift and they fitted nicely behind the front bar . I put a set of 100 watt globes in them and they were quite bright. can't really see them in this pic

^^^ could put one of these thin LED sets on. Mabye fit them in between the slits on the front bumper. Saves from having to cut holes.

Ya but the LED sets wouldnt look as gud as the proper globe fog lights. Like Dayvo said, good sets would be a nice small oval kinda shaped globes. And good powerful globe would do the job. but ya between the slits of the front bumper would be the best spot.

Illegal to have them on when not needed.

I'd laugh if a cop tried to defect my car for the lights. He can follow me down to holden and we'll recall every SS made.

I drive with them on constantly. However, most people with aftermarket ones angle them straight into the eyes of oncoming drivers thats why they get fined.

I can get you the exact measurements you need to cut. But you will still have to find the bezzels and spotties. (no you can't buy my spares )
