no aldl plug in my vp

got myself a vp 5 speed v6 last week. it went through alotta juice and can easily see its running rich so i went to check the codes after the engine light came on and theres no plug.....its a 92 vp. is there any other way to check the codes or is the plug somewhere different to where they are located on vr and vs's etc?

should be under the left kickpanel hanging next to the computer.
It may be tucked up over the computer reach around it should definetly be there

left hand kick panel, above the ecu, sometimes u gotta dig for it.
