pls help got a prob

ok my problem is i changed my spark plugs and the last one on the right was very black the others were not
put all new ones in i went for a test drive pulled the last one out to look and was black

does any know the cause?
could it be my injector or leads or my rings?


oh and its a v8

Was it wet at all? did you have any signs of a miss? might be that the injector is weeping and fouling your plug. Can you take a picture of it?

do you mean wet with water then no and yes there is a slight miss when in a high gear and a little bit of throttle on while driving also wnen in drive at the lights

no not wet with water wet with petrol a pictur would really help theres a diagnoses chart for spark plugs i'll see if i can find it

ok found it thought i had it somewhere have you checked your timing? iThis chart will give you a good few things to check. Sounds to me like it will be second down on the left

For the timing you need a timing light. You then need to put the ecu into diagnostic mode tehn start car with timing light attached and check your timing should be set at 10 degrees BTDC there's a little sticker on the passenger strut tower that has the overveiw of checking your timing
