hey guys,
i was thinking about getting a set of king springs off ebay, they have a set(4) of super lows for around $240,
i was wondering can i just put them straight in?
or do i have to get the proper lowered shocks aswell?
i have stock height pedders suspension in at the moment.
superlows should be fine with stock shocks though if your front shocks are old i suggest replacing them while your at it as theyre a pain to do

Don't want to have to go through it all again in six months when the superlows shag out your stock height struts.

any advice on this? :S
It rides like crap because the standard shocks are stuffed.
When changing springs, it is strongly recommended that the shocks be changed as well if it has done more than 50 000kms. The effective life of a shock absorber is 40 000kms. People don't tend to notice the decline in shocks because it is a gradual thing and they get used to how the car handles.
It actually pushes the body to one side as the diff is on the ground. Having the tail shaft run crooked isn't that big a deal as it runs on a CV joint in the middle and a uni joint at the rear. It is more of a case of the tyre rubbing on the guard on the LHS.
i have proper pedders in at the moment,
so you mean its advisable to get actual lowered shocks to suit the springs?
and the pedders wont be that good, if i just left them in with the lowered springs?
If the shocks aren't that old it will be fine. Shortened shocks trap the springs on the rear.
