Default Difference between ecotec and buick

How much difference is there between the ecotec v6s in the vs commys and the buick v6s in the way that crankshafts and bellhousing go etc?

Like is it possible to do a manual conversion with all vn s2 - vr manual stuff? and it all bolt up?

just wondering if anyone has done anything like this before?

    Cheers, Jonathan

The motors themselves have nothing to do with the box as the bellhousing configuration is the same as vn s2 and vp-vr, although the differances between the 2 motors are pages long and are vastly different.

a t5 will bolt to any vn s2 car, but the vn s1 will need a few changes to accept the box. what type of car do you have?

I think he wants to put a T5 into a VS, there was a thread about this in the VT section the other day

This has been covered many times before Yes it will bolt up a few things needing to change on a ecotec you need to run a vs manual ecotec loom or get your chip modified

Also you should look at this with regards to crankshafts
