One should be your breather hose, one should be the fuel line, and one should be the return line. But im probably wrong.

nah mate there are a heap of breather lines there, mine had the same problem only less to work with.
I suggest that you go to holden and get a pic of the breather lines printed out then order them all and go home and fit them.
My fuel economy improved after i done this on mine.

By memory. 1 and 2 connect to 4 and 5 to the top of the tank. Large hose on the top left should also go to the top of the tank. Im pretty sure 3 should go to six which is the metal charcoal canister line. I also think your missing the vapour separator????

No the vapour separator is there, just above the photo edge . . . what's it for anyway??

Thanks for your help guys, looks like I'll be dropping the tank to get to the hoses on top.. redo all the breather hoses. Or I might just leave it until I get a new car

You don't need to drop the tank all the way, just enough to get access to the top so you can fit new hoses. Don't take off the hard black pipe on the side of the tank as it is a real pain to get back on.

Yep you do really need to drop it, but not the whole way. Enough to get your hands and a screwdriver or pliers in above the tank there.

I used carby fuel line. It says 'not safe for EFI systems' but there's no pressure on these hoses anyway. Not sure on size, just cut a bit of your current stuff out and match the internal diameter.

I used every inch of the 2m that I bought... probably get a bit more if you can.

edit: and no, ant, the other piping was fine.

Yeah I paid $20 or some **** for mine from Malz.. 2.50 per 25cm

Bit of a rip, repco doesn't carry proper breather line so I had to get carby fuel line from Malz

you can buy the correct hose for it ...its caller "fuel breather hose" and is a clear type hose....well thats what we got and it is allot better then what we had.....NO HOSE left what so ever. Cost under 20 bucks..we also went and got the overflow hose from holden and replaced that at same time (this one needs a clamp) didnt need to replace teh filler neck one.

yeah my overflow was still fine as far as i know, will see when i next fill up

I couldn't find breather line, I think the (EDIT) carby fuel hose should last longer anyway, plus I didn't need any clips because the hose is nice and thick in the wall meaning it holds to fittings quite well

Factory puts on clamps, so why wouldn't you. Sure theres no pressure, but vibrations can pull things of, easy to take 2 secs to put on a clamp than a hour to put a clamp on later when the hose came of.

As stated again after, the carby hose is a nicer tighter fit then the genuine breather hoses so theres no way they will come off until another 10 or more years down the track wen they decide 2 perish like these did but they r a better quality so should last even longer.
