i seen some threads where people have had to drill out the immobiliser lock and cross wires, but i couldn't say which ones, if yuo search 'drill' or someting you'll find info.

The immobiliser can be bypassed by bridging the two pairs of wires going to the switch in the front passenger door cavity.

Bridge the orange and orange black (from memory) pair of wires with one insulated wire link and bridge the second pair of wires with another insulated wire link.

On my vp v6 you can see the immobiliser has been disabled as the orange light on the cluster with a picture on af an engine comes on. Turn the ignition key & the engine will fire (with the immobiliser active the engine will turn over, it just wont fire).

To remove the broken key from the lock you can get a small thin tool from a locksmith whcih slides in and you can drag out the broken bit.

If you want i can have a look in the book for the wire colours when i get home.

cheers peter.
