need computer help

my 92 VQ v8 possibly needs a new control unit or memcal and want to know if anybody in brissy area has 1 i could use to see if this is the answer to my car problems
when cold it runs like a cranky kid with a sore head,will just lose all power for no apparent reason and only dash ignition lights will be illuminated and have to restart as it is rolling,have checked iac valve ,replaced air filter,checked fuel and efi relays and wiring, replaced fuel filter,engine light is constantly on now where before it would dissappear and diagnosis check would show code 12(all ok)when engine light is on it wont allow diagnosis check to be done
can somebody please help me out as i am ready to blow this damn car up i have done all i can

also when i give it some curry from idle it kinda loses power then takes off as if it is starving for fuel but not sure about laying out huge costs to get injectors replaced when it may not be the problem ,kinda hoping a loan computer for a cpl of minutes to see if that is the problem will be solution to my ****ty probs

mate try reseting the engine comp first.

You said this happens when it's cold.

ONLY when it's cold? Does it behave once warmed up?

Did this problem gradually develop and become worse over time, or was the car just suddenly a bitch one day out of the blue?

Give us as much information (and in as many individually constructed sentences) as you can

just started 1 night out of the blue
become a real bitch almost straight away
when cold it plays up until it warms up
when warm it will just out of the blue stop and the lights on the dash will be lit up as if i have turned the ignition on
will run at fast idle most of the time but for no reason it will fart and fart more as if the fuel line is restricted then unrestricted,up and down in revs
soem times it will run at lower revs and stop after you take foot off accelerator pedal but as you are doin speed
will stop at idle right out of the blue
at the momkenbt it is running at more revs than normal and will just stop anytime it wants
have replaced fuel filter,checked all relays and all the other **** that have had to
