    Default Supercharging on LPG

I cant find very much info on this, some say it can be done, other's say it cant.

Hell if ford can run a turbo on LPG is has to be possible if even they can do it with a snail

Can it be done with a mixer style system, or do you haft to go sequential ?

WA frod can run a turbo on LPG?? impossible...neva heard of tht...omg where did i miss that...which ford is it?? all i noe is tht LPG tht we get is no constant with the mixture of butane and poropane i think...well is two types of fuel...i heard they change from time to time lyk some times is 50-50 ratio or even 60-40..thts y high performing cars can last with that change..also gas aint gud for high performing cars coz it aint got the bang compared to petrol...well tht my knowledge abt LPG n cars n fast cars...but i was thinking places like supagas sells pure propane LPG at a bit higher price...if we get access to this is it mechanically possible to supercharge or even turbo our stock VP-VN engines?? if not stock, what kind of engines would tht can fit in the VP-VN???

It is possible, but i would be going injected gas, either liquid or vapor injection. This is because of 3 reasons that come to mind
    1. Restriction, the gas mixer system can cause a large restriction
    2. Back Fires, unfortunately the gas mixer system is prone to back firing when driven hard, and if you are going to go forced induction i would be more than willing to bet your going to drive it hard.
    3. Well this also relates to back firing. The air exiting the turbo/sc is very hot because it has been compressed, the additional heat may be enough to cause detonation in the intake

BOTH reasons 2 and 3 will cause damage to the supercharger/turbo and air box.

LPG has similar characteristics to premium unleaded (RON95), so the spark maps can be upgraded to allow more advance and give more power aswell.

Im going to make that easier for everyone else to read

Impossible, never heard of that. Oh my god where did i miss that? Which ford is it? All I know is that LPG that we get is not constant with the mixture of butane and propane: i heard they change from time to time, as in some times it is 50-50 ratio or even 60-40, thats why high performing cars can last with that change. Also gas isnt good for high performing cars because it hasn't got the bang compared to petrol. Well that is all of my knowledge about LPG cars and fast cars, but I was thinking places like supagas sell pure propane LPG at a bit higher price. If we get access to this is it mechanically possible to supercharge or even turbo our stock VP-VN engines? If not stock, what kind of engines would that can fit in the VP-VN???

Ok, now that I can read it I will answer your questions.

If is possible to supercharge or turbo a VN/VP engine. It will need to be running low boost if the bottom end is going to last. Running it on gas will have the same consequences as above.

    or

Ya bro its posbl... ull needa be runin low bost if da botm nd is gona last... Run it on gas n ur ngin ll go pop

It seems they run the sequential injection on the BA XT's with the snail. Aparently its pretty good because you can up the boost without servere detonation. All the info relavent to lpg stuff seems pretty hard to come by.

Has to be injected gas, it can be done quite well and make good power, but for the cost of it and what not i dont think its worth it

sorry about the way i type. Just used to it on the computer. Anyway if the turbo or the supercharge blows up due to the heated compressed exiting air, is there anything that can be added like a cooling system so cool it down to the normal temp? Not 100% of the engineering of cars but really want to see a vn/vp pulling very high power by running on gas since it is also a fuel but a different kind. there can be a way out of it, isnt?
