Wipers Self Return Stuffed
Hey,
Just got a VP SS and noticed the wipers dont self return. Could this be a faulty switch or something else?

Years ago, wasnt there a capacitor on the wiper motor that stored enough charge to return the wipers to the "park" position after they were switched off? dunno if there still is. pete
last time i pulled a wiper motor apart there were brass contacts inside on the gears that would give it power to return to the down position.
Maybe check if there is a live wire there for this to happen and if that ok then pull it apart and clean the contacts.

The switch looks abit dodgey. It popped out a little when i was fiddling with it today. I will have a closer look over the weekend. Need to fix my horn and cenral locking aswell
