Hey i recently moved to mackay, just looking into buying another vn, looking granny spec, basically a project car, and was trying make a few friends around the area, so yeah if there are any commodore meets, or cruises mackay or close by please post up for me, would be well appreciated.

Have a look on the side of the road a couple of k's past City Gates heading to Sarina, there was a couple of nice Stato's there today. I see you're after a VN but if the price is right then ya never know eh??? I seen one was 6 g's but didn't see a price on the other one!

6g's is a bit excessive for a VN dont you think? I wouldnt pay over $1500 for one. I guess this doesnt really apply to everyone, but Ive been offered a few good deals in regards to VN's. Was offered about a year back to get 2 VN's, ~250,000kms, good mechanical nick, 5 and 6 months rego + RWC, good interior nick, jsut a bit faded paint, both for $800.

I was just at supercheap in cannonvale and one of the workers there said he had a vp with 130k on the clock for sale, sorry i did not ask the price or his name.

hey guys sorry was moving house, yeah im happy to see there are a few members on here in the mackay area, and coolngroovy this town is very awsome i never wanna leave lol, but if you know where there is some vn's would be great i dont get much time to go anywhere, I want an executive v6, auto with under 230 000 and under about $1500 but that depends on condition (pay more for a really good one), and also as close to granny spec as possible, I wanna build it up from scratch but same thing again if one for cheap comes up with decent stuff done to it i wont say no.. thanks buys i will try and make the time to come check the club out..

oh and by the way i have been trying the pocket trader but havnt found any vn's with rego or within a price range yet

about a year ago i got a 1 owner vp in rposy for $2000 with 10mths rego and roadworthy. got it this cheap as ac is cactus.
The original owner is a local mechanic to, so bonus.

coolngroovy just wondering if you could tell me about a few of the vn's here as i now have an open licence in qld so i can drive v8's etc i wanna find a vn 5 litre or vq 5 litre, will still buy a 6 but yeah, so if you could tell me what you know bout the few for sale would be nice, wanna keep it under 1500-2000 cause vn's aurnt worth much even the 5 litres

Hey mate, have a look in the place next to the chiropractor in sarina, looks like a vn parked there that hasn't gone anywhere for a bit. You never know if ya never ask eh??? It's on the main drag, seen it there today! Pretty much opposite Meng Tyres!

thanks mate buy i dont really get the time to go to sarina, that and i kinda want one with rego, btw iv also started thinking maybe a vk if i cant find a vn, im not sure but basically anything i can find an mackay for under 1500 ill buy, except a vp or vl lol there my 2 most hated commodores lol, anyways thanks guys
