    Default ecotec into a vn series 2

    hey guys

    just wondering whether its a pain in the @#$% to fit a vs/vt ecotec to my vn

    can get my hands on one and my heads are gone on my motor so i have to do something and thought it might work

    if anyone can help it would be nice

    i know hozy has done it but how hard was it

    Hozy did a how-to with all the relevant info. do a search
    Body by Holden, Soul by Brock
    the Legend will live forever

    VN exec T5: 15.1sec @92.2mph 1/4 mile, 9.7sec @ 74.6mph 1/8mile, 2.3sec 60ft, 0-60mph 6.827sec 22/11/07 Gtech competition

    thank immortality i done a search and found it funny cause when i look before i couldnt find it looks easy enough so i think i might give it a go \

    use the VT computer though, the vn one will run it, not perfectly though. you'll need to have the computer modified without BCM

    you'd be best off putting your money into a V8

    haha wtf are you smoking? VN Ecu run's it perfect with a proper tune.

    Dude VN's are lovely cars, only let down by the V6 they came with, sorry but it's all true

    Why though? everyone says they are crap but im not so sure...

    yeah they use "blunt sword" tech with pushrods and the likes but they run 500k+ and give ample power for there size.

    I know of 2 people on this forum who own both and still love the 3800... it works! with a bit of modding, it goes alright... standard it runs a lower peak power to the ecotec but no one i know has said its more "stable"..

    i stand by my decision..

    lol i owned a vn and always said VS were ****....but after driveing a VS for a few days i didnt know why i said they were ****.....VN's are nice cars as well....hell if i could afford i would own both
