    Default Handbrake alarm vp calais

    I can't get the alarm to turn off have disconnected wire and still going BEEP???any Ideas ??

    is there 7 beeps in a row?? if so its definately the handbrake chime.

    First thing i would try is reconnecting whatever wire you took off and checking the tension of the handbrake cable.

    Next would be a faulty sensor, etc.

    is the handbrake light on on the cluster?
    if not check the 4th connector on the bottom of the cluster the handbrake wire may be broken/pulled out

    Definetly sounds like the 4th connector is the culprit then... Worst comes to worst pull the chime out of the cluster and be done with it

    So just pull the cluster out and 4th connector in?
