    Default VN Ser. II Problems!!!

Hey all i am having some serious problems with my old vn commy, so here are the symptoms:

1 It won't idle correctly and stalls constantly
2 The battery drains completely every night (i have to jump it every morning)
3 When it is running the motor runs and drives like a stubborn mule. (spluttering etc etc)

my question is - does anyone have any idea what is wrong with my commodore, the old girl used to be so reliable and now it just runs like poo

    PLZ HEEEELPPPPP

    thanks

    Busta-P

Your battery problem is either the alternator, or the battery itself. I had a brand new battery which was dodgy from the start, and actually made the car lose power when driving.

The only other problem i can think of is the fact theres no such thing as a series 2 VN. VP was the first model to use series 1 and 2 names.

Get your battery tested as it may need replacing. If the battery is good then something is draining the power so check that nothing is staying on at night, like glove box light or boot light etc. Fixing the battery problem might also fix your other issues.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
