Hey all i am having some serious problems with my old vn commy, so here are the symptoms:
1 It won't idle correctly and stalls constantly
2 The battery drains completely every night (i have to jump it every morning)
3 When it is running the motor runs and drives like a stubborn mule. (spluttering etc etc)
my question is - does anyone have any idea what is wrong with my commodore, the old girl used to be so reliable and now it just runs like poo
PLZ HEEEELPPPPP
thanks

Your battery problem is either the alternator, or the battery itself. I had a brand new battery which was dodgy from the start, and actually made the car lose power when driving.
The only other problem i can think of is the fact theres no such thing as a series 2 VN. VP was the first model to use series 1 and 2 names.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
my old man had a problem like this in his vs commi the battery kept going flat and the car wouldnt idle and it lost alot of power, i got a new battery for him and the car has ran sweet ever since.....its amazing what a new battery can doid also check your alternator ect to see if its working correctly
lol smart ass
I vote battery too, I could give you a list of stuff that was playing up on the VRC, & was all fixed by new battery, but its hardly relevent to a little 6....
hahahahaha sorry had to add that, apparently Im suppose to rub it in where ever I can that I have an 8?? Or atleast thats the rules when I had a poor little 6 & others had an 8.....
