    Default another v6 exhaust question

hey guys i have a vp v6 exec and im considering getting a 2 and a 1/2 redback exhaust , my question is the exhaust on the car is 2 and 1/4 standard if i was to just get a hi flo muffler for the middle and get the back muffler removed would i be losing much if any gains over the 2 1/2 redback system , trying to save myself some money thats all , the car only has a cai and k&n and ill probably get a tune later.

sorry for yet another exhaust thread

    cheers

It will actually be better as far as performance over the 2 1/2". People get the 2 1/2" because it is easier and more common. On a stock vehicle 2 1/4" is better.

well after running around to a few exhaust places asking them for new mufflers on my standard exhaust , i just decided to go with a redback 2 1/2 because it worked out cheaper ..just bought one on ebay for $179
