    Default VN SS shutting down

I have just joined and was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction. I have a 1990 vn 5lt that i have recently bought about 2 months ago, when first picked it up seem to run fine within 1 week was missing baddly, replaced leads, plugs, fuel filter, pulled out efi and fuel pump relays riggled and jiggled them a bit then put them back in and ran perfect for 3 weeks, started missing again so did the same thing with fuses and fixed it again for another week, then noticed it wasnt 100% over next couple of days but not to bad,was bored one afternoon so went out and pulled throttle body of to give a good clean, drove it that nite and 10 mins down the road it stopped on me, fuel gauge was reading low so thought was out of fuel put 20lt in and kicked up first go and got me where i was going, on way home filled it up then before i got home it stopped again, will restart every time perfect but shut down straight away, let it sit for 10 mins and away i went but was not 100%. did same on way to work next day start perfect every time but shut down straight away left it for the day then fired up first go and drove it home where it has stayed for last 2 days, put injector cleaner in fuel checked all wiring, checked fuel pump, put finger on top of module when someone started it and couldnt feel any tingle which was told to do by mechanic, so thats it, any help would be greatly appreciated

I cant help but think that you have something in your fuel tank blocking the pick up. and then unblocking after you have let it sit for a while. say something like a ping pong ball. stab in the dark. is your fuel going through when your car cuts out. Whats you fuel pressure doing?
