Default Removing brake booster any tips?

Hey guys anyone got any tips for removing the booster?
I have the master cylinder off and all the bolts undone from the bracket at the back of the booster. The top left was a PITA so i have undone the the 2 on the inside aswell to give me more clearance.
Anyways now its unbolted i tried to pull it out but it hits on the strut tower. Should i take the pedal off to help get it out or can you leave the pedal hooked up?
To tell the truth i didnt try for very long as its been ****ing me off for the last hour
    Advice is much appreciated

    Cheers Pub

Haydz and me were taking a pedal box out. i sat in the car looking at things while he takes the brake booster out. In the end we didnt have to

But the moral of my story is chicken.... oh yeah and theres a pin on the pedal inside the car that u need to take out.

I found it easier removing the booster with the bracket still bolted on. Its just four nuts to undo on the fire wall from the inside of the footwell. Youl need to unclip the clip that holds the pedal pin on the booster shaft (can be a bitch somtimes). Good luck!

Yep as above ^^^ undo the "G" shape spring clip.

I did the 89 green sedan a few months ago without undoing the M/C brake lines.

Cheers guys . I thought that may be the way i had to do it. Its a pity i wasted all the time undoing the 4 at the back of the booster.
Also isnt it only 2 bolts from inside the cabin?
