i have a vp v6 executive that turns off randomly and sometimes will not start, yet when i reset the computer it will work. can anyone help me??
the computer wouldn't influence it but it could be a crank angle sensor.
do a search and you'll find a couple of tips to diagnose it.
basically car gets hot, CAS dies and won't start, car cools down CAS resurrects from the dead and car starts.
Either CAS or you said u reset the computer so that involves battery and terminals, when the car dies do you still get power and lights up on the dash? if not proberbly a faulty terminal, my Neg terminal was abit loose and not earthing out so i had no power.
~ VN POWER ~ Click the scales
when car dies i still have full power in lights stereo etc... engine still turns over but will not ignite. has been bothering me for weeks. big inconvenience
would the cas being dodgy also relate to the car running rougher than usual because i ahve recently replaced leads, plugs etc... it runs alot better but still not as good as it should...
