    Default cat converter

    i bought my car with genie extractors through to the cat then 2.5 exhaust...,
    i was wondering how could i tell if i have a high flow cat?,
    and if its not a high flow, whats the pros and cons on taking the guts out of it? hahaha

    Pros....none
    Cons....huge EPA fine and an off the road work order if caught.

    On a VN a hi flow cat would make absolutely no difference so don't even worry about whether it is a hi flow or not.

    i always thought the vn cats were good for a stock product? (considering what engine there running on )

    99% of stock cats have the same flow, it's just the inlet and outlet that differ in size.

    Yep they all flow pretty well the same, there is no real restriction through them. If the guys at HPH can run 1000+ rwhp through a pair of cats, there's no reason to worry about flow on your stock streeter.
