Hi,
Ive got a LX torana and fitting a completely rebuilt VP V6 motor in it. The motor is stock with custom extractors and the wiring has been done roughfly now.
We got the injectors tested and noticed that they were buggered.
So im looking for new injectors but the issue is that later on down the track I will be supercharging it with probably a SC14 at about 8p.s.i and was wondering if I could buy injectors now that will be acceptable for the charger.
I have read alot of other posts and looked at Raptor SC that runs 36lbs compared with the stock 18.25lbs.
Bosch part number:
0280 150 960 (Stock)
Which is the EV1 style.
Is there any chance of fitting a EV6 style which has “director plate” multi-ori-
fice technology and handles changes in fuel pressure better.
Something like
0280 155 844. Which is EV6 and has 150gpm flow rate but at 2.7bar (not at stock 3bar) and hence at a later date I could up the pressure on this one to give me more flow rate which cannot be done with the pintle EV1 type.
The EV6 are a long body type which is 12mm longer than the standard the fuel rail will have to be raised to accommodate this??
See bosch data sheet.

Also another good site I got from another thread
Stan Weiss' - Electronic Fuel Injector (EFI) Flow Data Table
Thanks alot

im guessing stock supercharged v6 (l67) injectors are what youll be after
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
But the problem is these will make it run not very well due to the wrong air/fuel ratio.
Does anyone know the part number for the l67 injectors?
Basically im wondering if theres a happy medium where I can use the injectors now that flow close to 150gpm and then when the charger goes on I can buy another variable regulator to up the fuel pressure which will up the flow rate.
Cheers
thats the stupid way of controlling AFRs. just get the right injectors and get it tuned. that way you can adjust the timing too, which is just as important

ok. So your saying get the l67 injectors and get it tuned to suit?
