Can you clean the insides of headlights?
are they sealed all the way around?
if you can clean the insides of the headlights how can you clean them?
my front drivers side head light is dirty on the inside making it duller than my passenger side...
yes i did this on me VN (vp should be similar) you need to take the light out and you should see some clips that go all the way around the out side where the lens meets the plastic. Take these clips off carefully and the lens should come off...be careful as its glass and also to clean the lens use glass spray and wipe it out well but DONT spray anything on the reflector paint otherwise this could damage it.

are you sure its not rust in the light?
unusual to get dirt in them unless theres theres air getting in from somewhere.
and yes they are sealed but as jas said it can be done
i picked the headlights off a Vp Wagon and it was sitting in his yard for a while...cause i found out my headlight drivers side was a Vn light so i changed it to the one i got from the wagon and doesnt seem as clearer as the vp on i have on my passenger side...
so not sure if its rusted
you can get away with some silicon for the job or if you really want to seal it properly you can use some shellys gell grip or similar.
Be careful not to put it on too thick or youll see it through the lens.
If it is rusted youll probebly get away with some metal polish but it wont be permanent
while were on it, pics of the VN headlight next to the VP one on the car. I stilll don't see how you got a VN headlight on with a VP Grill.

On another note, what the easiest way to align the headlights? And also, does changing the bulbs make much of a difference, mine seem a bit dull, and I tend to need the high beams to see when its dark (it doesnt seem to annoy other motorists at all, unlike when I drive my dad's VE, then its angry flashing from everyone, sometimes even when the high beams are not on, LOL). If the bulbs do need changing, what do you recommend I get?
