hey guys just wondering 2 things whats a new windscreen worth fitted, how hard is it to replace a door handle (outside) and how much would an auto electrician charge to wire up a HU, 4 speakers, 2 subs and 1 amp with a wiring kit supplied and speaker wire?

I live in country vic, and we rang around today for prices on new windscreen + seal fitted. Cheapest was 200, and went up to 280. Though their was a thread recently where people said they paid 120 and would never pay over 200.

Door handle is easy to replace, remove the door trim, on the handle is a slide lock pin thing, slide it out and the handle will pretty much fall out with a bit of moving around, put the next one in, make sure you put the rod in place to, put the clip back on and your done.

No idea on the wiring, but i do suggest you atleast run all the wiring your self, or even wire it up, its not hard.

i also read somewhere to try getting vr/vs door handles cos they're apparently the same, just metal not plastic, so they're better quality and longer lasting.

stereo isn't really hard, just remember: fuses are your friends, arcing and fires are not.
