    Default Vn gts

Looking for any info on the VN SV GTS shipped to New Zealand.

I found 3 for sale in NZ but have very little info on them.

The photos are from 2 of the cars

No they are real, i see them quite often,

only thing really special about them is the rims,

V6 - manual or auto - i have seen both but not sure wether they were factory or not,

we had a vl gts over here too - almost as boring to be honest

You see them often but some have never heard of them?
Ill dig up my 20 years of HSV and list the models from VN when I remember at home, i dont remember VN GTS at all..
Infact i thought the big thing about the name GTS was to do with ford and holden released the VP GTS to say '**** you' to fords GT

The VN GTS was only released in New Zealand, on contract build by HSV.

Your 20 years of HSV history book wont list export models (such as the VR-X Monaro etc) because it only lists Aussie released models.

The book is missing the export models - was a suprise to me too havin searched Holden production for sum 3 years and a new model pops up. Gold.

So there is more Holdens to hunt down. And very little info on them.

So come on New Zealander Holden people. Spill the beans. What you got over there.

haha, non of the early 2nd gen commodores have CATS here in NZ. damn shame i wasn't doing this **** when we still had leaded fuel. leaded fuel with a decent tune would be killer. where abouts are you stocky?

Thanks for the link - added more info to my production web page.

Still have not found any more low serial numbers (like yours) which I now suspect were the first built VN's in NZ.

Could that be a VP as the GTS 5.0L was never released in Australia as a VN
