    Smile how much is it...

    to get a mechanic to change the crank arm sensor [i have the part] i haven't the time or tools to do it. Car is a VP 1992 Berlina. Any one have a ballpark figure? regards, Rob

    they will charge you an hrly rate which is usually around the $60-$70 mark plus any other parts as stated in previous post...I.E front seal,they may also find something wrong with you HB but highly unlikely.

    I was quoted $75 just to change the balancer plus parts and that is nearly all you need to do to change the cas.
    Whoever i thought the price was a little high but it gives a good indication on the pricing.
    If your balancer is old and you are paying to get it done then it would be worth considering replaceing the balancer to, they are about $150.
