My poor old VP's lighting system is having some dramas, I wonder if anyone has suffered the same problems and been able to fix it.
It seems that every time I replace a globe somewhere on my car, another one blows somewhere else. Initially, my fuel gauge light went out, I replaced that and my cruise control/aerial buttons lights went out. Replaced those and lost a headlight. Replaced the headlight and lost the other one. Replaced THAT headlight and lost my taillights... the list goes on =P
Now, my stop lamps only work when the car is stationary. When the car moves, they go out. The high-mount stop lamp works intermittently, usually not at all. I'm not sure if all the lamp failures are related, or if they're just coincidental, and I have no idea what's up with my stop lamps.
Anyone got any idea??
(Other electrical problems my car has include a power window that doesn't go down, door locks that only go down sometimes, and an alarm system that goes off at random intervals when it's armed)
Thanks guys...Jordan
And you have a voltage leak to your high-mount stop light. Remember we figured that out when I drove behind you with no headlights on? It's always on, just a tiny bit![]()
