VP Interior Light & Alarm Problems

Hi - have a VP Calais and the interior light seems to turn on and off at random. Sometimes while driving - sometimes when parked. After being set the alarm also goes off at random, I think it is related to the interior light issue. Alarm trip code indicates that it is a passenger door. Have taken it to an auto-electrician and checked door switches etc, but the problem remains.
Any suggestions?

Its not the alarm giving a fault, the way an alarm system works (most) is they detect a power loss in the system which sets the alarm off. The light ging on is simulating a car door opening, so my guess is your problem is the light, just tale the bulb out for a day or 2 to make sure.
