    Default fuel guage problems

    i was wondering if some one could tell me wat colour the wires are that come from the uel guage. thanks,

    For the L1, L2 or L3 dash?

    um im not to sure i thinks its l2, its got the tacho on the left speedo in the middle and fuel on the right and temp under thats. out of a 93 series 2.

    Yep Level 2.

    Whats the problem? sticking? not showing correct level of fuel?

    hey mate the problem is that the wires ahve been cut near the fuse box. the car used to have a duel fuel and both the gas and petrol both ran off the fuel guage. near the fuse box an after set up was installed. wires came from the gas tank petrol sender and dash and they all met up at a relay that also went to the switch from gas to petrol. they relay went one day so i removed it so could match it up with another one, during the time they relay was out i had an alarm installed and the auto elect cut all the wires that were going into relay. since then the gas has been removed. i no the wires coming from the petrol tank i just need to no wat the colour are coming from the guage so i can join then together.

    I'll find the VN ones and see how close they are - you may be able to work it from that.
