went to check the bolts on the inlet manifold and the back ones were loose, tightened them up but took a look around and looks like old oil around the alternator and coated on passenger side of engine down to the oil pan. bolts on front of manifold were tight, car also has a rough idle that if you sit at the tail pipe, it kind of puffs every few sec (no smoke, just the sound). Should I just replace the inlet manifold gasket to be safe...I was thinking maybe a vacuum leak causing the idle to go off?
yeh i would just to be on the safe side....the gasket kit only cost me 40 bucks plus the oil and coolant soo yeh not allot .....it did make a huge difference on my old VN. Not hard to do either
