Default locked keys in boot and i have no spare...

i just locked my keys in my boot, the electronic release does not work and the car is on gas so there is a tank behind the seat.

is there any way of getting in without popping the lock out?

You could try removing the rear seat, removing the parcel shelf, removing a speaker and see if you can get a stick of some kind to hook them

If you have covers over ur speakers, youll have to remove the back seat and parcelshelf to get to the speaker

or proof people should get keys cut? with his bill being half you would assume he would spend $5 for a spare key lol

    your 2 options are
    1. what is said above
    2. kill your lock

    your choice

This is why I hate electronics. What's wrong with a cable-operated boot release, and manual windows? Less things to go wrong, I say. If they had a statesman with manual windows, I would have bought one

Haha sounds like your set even if you lock 3 of your keys in your boot at the same time and the boot wont open and you cant get access to your boot.

Bit of overkill aye, never can be too prepare though.

    Good job for being organised

just that I've been there a few times and also leave the keys in the ignition....on top of that, everywhere I have a set of keys are at least 15km's or more apart and not in the same town I'm in....better to be safe than sorry.

So naturally i said yes and he shows me how 2 do it leaving me in disbelief @ how easy/quickly it was 2 get into the car! shows me how easy some low life could get into my car and drive off without making a sound

A friend knows a friend who hots cars (becuase he can't afford his own so he will hot a car and drove it where ever then "return" it around the corner or something like that...

One day I met him and he was in a VS and he hands me a box "This is the immobilizer that WAS in the car"

I know how easy it can be to get IN the car, but when you have an immobilizer and all you need to do is swap it with one you have the remote for :| that's not very smart....So I put a kill button and alarm in my car :|

use a bit of c4 that would get the boot open without popin the lock.......
lol na if u dont wanna pop ya lock the best thing 2 do is try fixin ya electric boot release, try another switch or even just strippin the wire and tap it on some power and c if it does anything. If not try some of the other ideas but if the way i said and som1 else has already said works then u fixed another problem
Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad
and have a vk 202 motor and 5 speed Make an offer want it gone
