    Default Berlina and Calais looms

Hey couldn't find a real answer to this, so i'm asking all of you guys.

I want to swap out my VN exec wiring loom for a higher model one.
Since I want to keep my heaterbox and not stuff around with the HVAC box at all, I don't wanna install climate control.
So I was thinking to get a VN calais one without the climate option. There actually really hard to come by and so I want to check what the difference between a power pack Berlina and a Calais. So far I have this:

Berlina: No trip computer or lvl 3 dash.
Central locking/ power windows and mirrors/ cruise control
    Standard HVAC box

Any other differences I havn't thought of?

Probably wont be an anti theft circuit in the berlinas and maybe no rear lights for passengers (not hard to put in)
I would be looking for a series 1 vn which im sure dont have climate( i know mine doesnt)

Either way the level 3 mod to a berlina loom isnt hard and that and climate are the only thing you'll miss out on.

In the VN book there was spotties, anti theft, bonnet switch plugs.

    I'll grab the book later

There was no wiring in the Berlina for spotties. That plug that runs to the centre console for spotties is taken in a Berlina for the wagon variants of the berlina with the rear wiper and the rear washer jets.

The Berlina's with the power pack got electric antenna, power mirrors, power windows, central locking. Not cruise control though. That was an added extra but its not hard to add.

Thanks guys, that was everything I needed to know. Rear passenger lights are fine as there already installed. Lvl 3 dash i've done as well, so it should be really easy with the loom out of the car.

    Nope. No cigarette lighter.

They did get the rear passenger lights as mentioned and the better centre roof light too. And electric antenna.

No kids, so I don't really care. Would be good to charge both my phones though...

Off to the wreakers tomorrow!!! (weather permitting) Hopefully I'll find a loom in good condition.

Yay!!! Success!! I got the whole thing out of the Calais at jollys. I think its missing one part though, Theres a green and white plug in the loom, goes just behind the glove box. I'm thinking it's for the alarm. If it is, is the alarm module needed if i'm putting in a aftermarket one??

I don't think it will start without the alarm module connected. I grabbed one and hooked it up anyway, just in case.

Ah well, i'll find one around. Not sure if i'm going to use the whole loom, or be lazy and split it up and use the original loom as well.
