    Default My New Mistake

hey guys, well i owned a vn once before, loved it/hated it, went and sold that, got my licence back and brought a monaro shell, and a 4 door corolla seca, sick of the seca and dont wanna ruin the monaro so brught a 500 buck vn and putting it on the road and gunna do it up slowly and surly, it aint bad, paints a bit down looking but it aint peeling or anything, straight as, only 2 dints in the whole car, got new rims for it and new window tint coming, only gunna cost me bout 1200 to put on road but thats including a new exhaust and a new hood lining, anyways heres some pics, ill keem em coming as i do more stuff to it, hopefully in the long run either put a v8 in it or a rebuild and super/or/turbo charger on in.

there ya go lads, keep me posted with any good idea's and what not

looks like a good buy for 500 mate.

I see its also missing a bootlock so maybe that would be one of the first things to fix...
Love the rims are they 16"s or 17"s?

yeah the boot lock is in the boot, a few things i didnt mention is it needs new tail lights, a new front bumper, new rear left hand door handle and the boot lock put back in, but i got the tail lights, rear bar and door handle all for 100 bucks and ill pick all that up next week so got away pretty easy, ahm the rims i dont really like them that much, but for 500 for 17's with near new tyres will be good enough for now to get me through rwc, hopefully ill get a nice set of 18's in a few months when i got the dosh behind me.

just thought id post up again, cant afford the rims sadly because when i got the car booked in at work for a new power steering seal kit found out pump was ****ed, still hit me up 270$ but thats labour new pump and seal kit, but im getting new tyres and the current 16's polished next week at work, wired up all the stereo now looks good, just need a new amp( btw wonder does anyone have 2 10's in there commy and if it sounds ok save me upgrading again), should sound good then, getting the exhaust fixed next week (getting a full 2.5 installed when i move back home save myself about 150 bucks in the long run), just gunna get the broken rear box cut out and replaced with a straight bit of 2.5 just to get through a rwc and might sound ok, dont really care if it dont only temp, got the hood lining booked in for next week found a place to do it for 100 bucks so im happy, and gotta fit the new tail lights, bumber and door handle this week sometime so it dont look so dodgy, wanna get a new coil pack or get the vacum hoses checked still got a small miss and dont know why exactly, ordered a nice momo wheel and boss kit to get rid of the truckies wheel and got it booked for a cut and polish (once again only 40 bucks through work) so will bring it up nice and shiny and ill paint the bumpers and the bit under the doors black to make it look even tidy, also getting the ****ty bubbled tint removed for a rwc at work for 50 bucks and will once again get retinted at home cause its cheaper, so ill post up again soon with some pics if i can find my camera cord lol. just one more question is do you guys think its low enough atm, its a bit lower than standard, but im not sure if i wanna lower it more cause i wanna put some 18's under it and if i leave it at this hight hopefully it wont scrub and if so wont be to hard to make it not scrub (great english there lol) and btw i work at holden so between the service, predelivery, detailing departments thats how i can get heaps done cheap, including 4 new tyres for 320$ yay, thanks guys hope to get some good awnsers and good feed back
