    Unhappy Bypass Air-Con.. Good idea??

Whats the cons to removing the aircon in my VP? Is it as easy as whacking in a smaller belt? and if so which belt to use?
If anyone has tried this, let me know how things are going..

    Cheers..

Yeah easy as a new belt just ask for one without aircon. Benefits arent much unless you remove the whole system and youll save about 25kgs of weight

The only con is that you won't have any cool air coming in through the vents!! Won't hurt anything, I did it on the VP I used to have as a temporary fix until I could afford to fix the A/C compressor bearing.

The Aircon cuts out at full throttle anyway so there's no gain at full throttle with just the small belt it doesn't take much/any power to spin it when it's not engaged. But if you remove the whole lot the weight gain is worthwhile

unless the little white plastic lever isn't hitting the shutoff switch on full cold... like mine... then you're left with a metal pipe right near your left foot that's constantly at 98deg or so..
