vn and vp are the same.
The vr on have transmission controls built in aswell.
If you can solder ask him for a eprom to install yourself.
Just need a little soldering skill and about a hour.
If you are unsure about your skill then get a socket and solder that in then just press the new eprom in.
That way when you sell it you can keep the tune.

i wasnt aware i had to solder anything to do it ....shows you how much i know or dont in this case , so to get the actual chip out it needs to be desoldered then soldered back in ect ....i feel like a dumbass for asking this

    cheers

foamy will send you the entire memcal, not just the eprom, but he asks for 50 odd refundable for him to send you one before you send yours.. think thats how i read it..

Ive got 4 here for him, just never replied to pm, so theyre all sitting here, waiting to be given

Hey you dont need to solder anything unless you get just an eprom ^ normally I'll blank the exsiting eprom in the memcal. Unless I need to put a larger eprom in a VN/P memcal to turn it into a VR/S memcal or want to run a later tune in the car then I'll solder a 512k in it. In your case you just want any VN-VR memcal and there will be no soldering in either case if you send it to me. I seem to have lost all my spares out in the mail at the moment, hopefully they all come back but sometimes they don't. So I can't help you with sending one first right now

Hint: Confirm with the Ebay seller that the ECU still has the memcal in it.

    They are often removed.

Ok guys I've got a plan the pm's have space by the way. But slingshot, you buy a memcal off XeKToReX, then everyone wins :0
