Hey guys, How long to batteries usually last? I have had my car for 3.5 years n have not had new battery. My stereo only seems to last about an hour now without the car running. But car still seems to start fine and all.

Do you think its time for a new battery? if so what battery would you recommend? And priced? cheers

I wouldn't worry about it just yet if there is no major problem...

As for battery, I picked up a re-con for $45 and the specs were actually better than one of the brand new ones in the store...

What exactly is a 'reconditioned battery'? How is it reconditioned? How can it be better than a new battery?

I dont really mind paying the $100-$150 for a new one. Just have no idea what are good brands and stuff. Have never bought one before. Dont need a deep cycle or anything. Just a normal battery would be good. cheers.

just head down to Sprint Autoparts or something like that and just pick up one of there name batteries. Im usin one in my VC right now, no worries at all
