You could probably get the blokes at the tyre place to remove it. They'd have a way.

Or use a large pair of multi-grips and something for leverage. Perhaps a socket that is a little too small, but almost fits, and hammer it on. Something like that

if you have the pack they came in, it usually has a number you can quote to the manufacturer and they can send you a replacement

If you don't have the packaging mechanics have a "machine" that takes them off, takes about 45min, had to do the same thing with my mums car last week

if they are stealing your rims while youre sleeping you might hear the banging.

apart from that its about as useful as a dvd rewinder

If you're that keen on keeping your wheels on the car, you're better off turning your wheels to the kerb to make the front ones harder to get off

another option is put more than 2 locknuts on each wheel ... thid will **** the rim thieves off and usually go onto another car and leave yours.

when a sockets used to get locknut off it is damaged and usually cant be used again to get other locknuts off and especially to be used for normal use again.

depends on how gentle you are... lol
I wouldn't be using my good sidcrome set thats for sure.

if you cant get a socket and a hammer to work you can buy twist sockets from like a hardware store. they are a socket with a twist in them used for undoing stripped nuts and bolts. use them at work all the time and they get lock nuts undone easy as....

There are internal barrel style lock nuts (and regular wheel nuts for that matter) which are a bit more secure. About $7.50 per nut though, RRP.. and the lock nuts cost more than that.
