Funny knock

Hi just a question,

My grandpa just brought a Vn series 1, has a loud heavy metallic sound coming from the front of the motor low down, It seems to be the vibration damper is this a common problem???

If you have any other ideas on what it could be feel free to post, sound goes away when belt removed

flogged out harmonic balancer??? can you turn it with your hand? i guess thats what you mean by vibration dampener

yeah i dunno had my grandpa over my sholder telling me what to write, its a berlina with electric windows n shiat and he got it for $500 but the knock in it bog standed
