usualy the first few times i accelerate off i hear water noise behind my dash. wtf is it?

Air in the heater core normally makes this sound. Bleed the coolant system with heater turned on full can help.

Yup, it's the heater coreNothing to worry about. If it's particularly loud, as 88GreenVN said, it means there's a bit of air in there. He pretty much covered it

I'd try to get the air out of the system - you can get an air lock in a cylinder head and do a gasket (I did).
That depends. What year and model is your car, and does it have a radiator cap or a pressurised overflow tank?![]()

my mums friends brand spanking new beemer x3 did this, and the ****s at bmw didnt believe her cos it never did it when she took it in. ****ing annoying noise to match a ****ing annoying car i spose...
