engine light
hey guys first time post i have a vg 1991 and i was wondering my engine light comes on after like 20 min of drivin stays on for a min then turns off, what is the cause of this, i do no that my manifold has a slight crak on the passenger side but does that have anything to do wth it due to the oxy sensor? any help will be appreciated. cheers.
try to check the error codes and see what it comes up with
yer i was goin to do that tomorow just thought there be a common prob thanks for quik reply also one more question when i turn heater or ac on i smell coolant but i cheked heater hozes and all dry?? ny idea where it is comin from??
hmmm that might be the heater box saying it needs to be replaced? hopefuly someone else might know???? car is not overheating or anything like that is it?
nuh dosnt over heat besides lifters noisy but thats standered for a vn lol she runs like a dream never seen temp guage go over 2 bar

you could try filling/sealing the crack with somekind of sensor safe gasket goo.. the light could be a fault due to an air leak

Could possibly be your oxy sensor, are u gettin a rough idle and is ya car chewin up a tonne of fuel?
my vn dose the very same m8 i dont know what yous are say cos i know nothink about under the hood
lol im ashamed to say lol but my car dose good on fule and some times it idles weired but i take no notice how hot is the average vn tem goota be
mine goes to half way but no more
