I'll look up the +6 specs in my HSV book see what the diff was - probably 3.08.

They tested a 3.24 in the sv3800 but it got canned as the cost was too much to test it properly.

So yes I think it will be 3.08.

As for how much - well I'd think somewhere between 4 to 5 hundred maybe.

I bought mine for $100 in good condition, but have seen them sell for up to $500. It really depends on what people are willing to pay. $400 is maybe what i'd advertise it for and see what offers you get.

The group A had the VL diff with 3.45 ratio and so it could fit wider wheels.
The +6 will be 3.08, and i would only pay 2-300 for it really, you never know what condition it is in

See I don't understand that theory because the VL turbo diff as the same as the VL V8 diff. There was no difference except the diff gears.

So why did they choose the VL 6 cylinder diff for the Group A instead of the VL V8 diff which had a 3.08 ratio?

Im talking VN Group A, not VL Group A. VN body's were wider, as were the diffs, so they used VL diff, slightly narrower to be able to fit wider wheels
