Just by chance i stumbled on a HSV VN yesterday, looked under the bonnet and it was a SV -150! It has leather trim, 5.0ltr and 5 speed man. Are they a rare item? And i want to know some more info about it, it was selling for $500 bucks, should i buy it? still goes, paints a little faded(as they all do!)
No, its worthless, ill waste the money on it$500 is cheap for a 5ltr as it is, unsure how rare the 150s are, but id snap it up
Not worth alot - ^^^ but as Hakhawk says $500 is cheap for a V8. I'd have a SV150 over a Calais any day. Has the HSV plate for starters.
Look in this link for the options list on the SV150

$500 for a VN V8 T5 Executive would be a bargain... so grab that thing while you still can, even though the SV-150 factor isn't worth more than about fifty bucks at the moment![]()

Hey guys,
About four months ago i traded my 5ltr 5 speed VT executive for a VN SV100. It is factory black and in excellent condition. It is a 355 stroker, has 200rwkw, 3.73 gears amongst other modifications.
A couple of days ago a guy who used to own it contacted me and said that only 2 were ever made in factory black and that the other one was a write off.
Any ideas as to the value of these cars? Not that it really matters cos i love the thing!!!
Not worth a great deal unless its in top nic. The HSV tag helps but not a lot
But I wouldn't sell it if it was mine![]()
