Heater controls - climate control models

G'day

Not sure if someone's asked this before, but I'm pretty sure a few Calais owners have found themselves wondering this. In my service manual, the instructions for draining the coolant from the engine say to set your heater controls to hot. If I have climate control, how do I go about this?

set it at the highest temperature you can i guess...lol

put it on manual turn blower on and set to highest temp - it tells ya to do that so it opes the heater tap and flushes the coolant round the heater core
